When to say yes

When to say no

To take control of your life

Christians often focus so much on being loving and unselfish that they forget their own limits and limitations. This course gives us the freedom to walk as the loving, giving and fulfilled individuals God created us to be.

The Boundaries Course is presented on video in eight segments. Following each segment there is time in a small group for discussion on any issues or questions that have been raised or relate to understanding our own personal boundaries.

Boundaries teaches you how to set limits , still be a loving person, and not feel guilty. The course has been devised by two American Christian psychologists – Drs. Henry Cloud/John Townsend. They offer biblically-based answers to tough questions, and demonstrate how to set healthy boundaries with your parents, spouse, children, friends, co-workers – and even yourself. Boundaries are personal property lines that define who you are and who you are not, and influence all areas of your life. There are physical, mental, emotional and spiritual boundaries and they help you disengage from the harmful, manipulative emotions of others. They help you bring new health and respect to your relationships. You discover firsthand how sound boundaries give you the freedom to walk as the loving, giving, fulfilled individual God created you to be.

A copy of the "Boundaries" textbook by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend is strongly recommended. This is available at all major bookstores or online at amazon.ca.
