At St George’s, we care for our kids of
every age. We want our children and their parents to feel welcomed and
at home here. Our Sunday School meets downstairs in our Kids Zone and
tries to meet the needs of every age. There is always a fun and loving
atmosphere, with singing, crafts and snacks. Parents of very young
children are welcome to come and join in as they wish!

Babies and toddlers bring
joy and life to our congregation and we love them just as they
are. We do not want little ones tucked away in a room somewhere:
we want them with us! For parents who wish to bring very young
children, there are options available. |
|
 |
We
have a dedicated row at the back of the church in which little
ones can play; rest assured we all love the sounds little ones
make, because they remind us we are alive! |
 |
If you
find it difficult to stay upstairs with a little one, parents
are welcome to join Sunday School downstairs! Sit back in our
Book Nook
in one of our comfy chairs and have a coffee. Toys and a play
pen are available. |
 |
A change table and rocker chair
are also available in our Lower Lounge. |

At St. George's we offer a place
to create, sing, dance, learn and rejoice in Jesus' love for us.
The children are given an understanding of worship, a sense of
community and a familiarity with life at the church. The
children begin by processing to the front, where they share a
moment with the priest and the congregation. They then process
downstairs, gather together around their own altar for a brief
time together, divide into individual classes according to age,
and then rejoin their families upstairs for communion. There is
a wonderful group or dedicated and enthusiastic teachers who
provide loving care and Christian direction for the children.
